First I would like to look back in what Thomas Jones did in 2008. 1,500 total yards of offense and 15 touchdowns, with a solid offense and good defense.
What happened after that?
Thomas was looking forward to a new contract. But it seemed not possible. A new rookie Shonn Greene was just joined the Jets, and was considered very qualified. But new deal or not, Thomas just participated in the Jets OTAs last Wednesday. I think he needs to do better job if he wants a new contract. Only good performance will add his value and make better contract more possible.
