Decision on suspect murderer of Taylor was delayed

On Friday in Miami, there should have been a hearing of plea deal by 21-year-old Venjah Hunte, who is one of the suspects in the slaying of Washington Redskins star defensive back Sean Taylor, but the Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Dennis Murphy decided to delay the hearing after a private conference with attorneys.

Taylor was a star football player in college at the University of Miami, and star defensive back in the Redskins. He died 24-year-old, being shot at his home in a robbery in November 2007. There are five suspects in the murdering case.

Hunte filed a plea deal calling for a 29-year prison sentence. If he can take the other four suspects to the trial, he will be able to avoid death sentence.
