Giants linebacker Michael Boley has been suspended by the league for the first game of the regular season. The reason for suspension is that Boley violated the league’s personal conduct policy.
Boley was arrested in May of 2008 and charged with battery on his wife after she accused him of becoming “too physical” after an argument. And the league said the suspension stems from that episode.
Boley spent the first four seasons of his career in Atlanta Falcons before he signed New York Giants. The episode happended when he was in the Falcons. He was never seen wearing saints jersey.
Boley is currently under recovery from a surgery on a torn labrum in his hip and is scheduled to take part in training camp midway.
